‘Walking For Health’ – Blackburn

Access Ability Walks started it is a 12 week walking programme on the 16th September 2014 in partnership with the Ramblers, Re:Fresh and Blackburn Job Centre Plus. The aim as a group is to encourage ‘Walking for Health’.

Our first walk started from the Job Centre up to Eanam Wharf on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. We picked a great day for it as it was a sunny day ☺

The walks are accessible and easy paced for individuals who are Deaf or Disabled (carers are also welcome to join us). Everyone who attends will receive a every step counts pack and step counter.

If you would like to join us we are meeting next week at the Job Centre or would like any further information please either contact Zoe at Access Ability on 01254 841762/ 07782213480 or Annette Bell on 07760462382
