Positive Pathways

Three photos of people, the first shows a young man smiling and holding a piece of paper, the second shows a young woman putting labels on jars and the last one shows another young man doing archery

Access Ability recognise the need for an ongoing support service that can provide consistency for young adults with disabilities aged 18+, living in the Lancashire area.

We have developed Positive Pathways to provide a supported progression route into employment. Our experienced Mentors work with individuals to expand their experiences, raise aspirations, build motivation and enable individuals to navigate their pathway to employment.

The project will provide young adults with a person-centred approach, which enables them to:

  • Develop independent life skills
  • Improve self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Build emotional and mental resilience
  • Transition into adulthood
  • Gain employment

“Access Ability has helped me to try new things and realise my potential.”
