Celebration of Success
Our Burnley job club enjoyed a fun filled night of disco bowling. This was a Celebration of Success’ of the last 18 months since the start of their personal journey’s working with Access Ability.
This is part of our community and social program which provides a positive environment to help our individuals to engage, try something new or be socially active. By providing opportunities it allows individuals to identify potential hobbies and interests within their community. This also develops their skills, improves confidence and wellbeing which has a positive impact when problem solving, applying for jobs, voluntary and work placements. This is strongly connected with 3 of the 5 principles of the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’.
It also gave the individuals opportunity to get together with new friends and ex-colleagues, to share stories, have fun and laughter whilst recalling experiences over the past 18 months.
