Mental health issues can affect any of us at any point in our lives, and the dark winter months following the holiday period can be especially difficult for some people. By valuing your employees and investing in their wellbeing, your company can strengthen performance and customer satisfaction. Creating a happier and healthier work environment will reduce absences, improve performance and morale and you will retain valued members of your team.

Stress, anxiety and depression are the biggest causes of sickness absence in our Society. Mental ill health is responsible for 70 million working days lost every year, costing the UK economy between £70 – £100 billion per year through lost working days, staff turnover and lower productivity.

Our Wellbeing training courses teach people to spot the symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial support and guide a person towards support. They also offer a safe and friendly environment for people to learn, share experiences and voice concerns.

By having these skills, companies can:

  • Reduce potential risks and issues
  • Ensure the company complies with the laws set by the Equality Act 2010
  • Decrease likelihood of grievance and discrimination claims from unhappy staff
  • Improve work commitments, productivity and staff morale
  • Create a happier, healthier work environment
