Practical Ideas for Happier Living is a new a 2-session course to promote mental wellbeing in local communities, developed by Action for Happiness.

The overall course aims are to enable you  to:

  • To show that there has been a positive impact on the mental wellbeing of participants after completion of the 2 sessions

Practical Ideas for Happier Living

Working around the evidenced based 10 Keys for wellbeing this training is allowing participants to up skill in 6 ‘healthier’ habits which have a direct impact on our happiness. The 6habits that are looked at in detail are;

  • Notice the good things
  • Look after your relationships
  • Enjoy staying active
  • Take a minute to breathe
  • Check your thinking
  • Use your strengths

Course objectives

  • Practice and try new skills to increase your happiness and general wellbeing
  • Identify times when  the new skills can be incorporated in day-to-day life

Identify strategies that work for you and have a direct impact on your own mental wellbeing
