Emma Emma – Managing Director

Emma established Access Ability CIC following over 10 years of working in the Deaf community as an interpreter as well as within the education sector.  With a degree in education and BSL level 6 she has 15 year of experience in a diverse range of settings. She is motivated by the need to promote and provide equal access to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to make informed choices into education and employment.  As well as providing support and guidance around disability to potential employers, front line staff and education providers. She is the Managing Director of the Company supporting all the divisions within Access Ability.

 

 

Kelly Kelly

Kelly has worked for Access Ability for several years, being involved in many of the projects.

Clair Clair

Clair has over 10 years of experience working within the performing arts industry. With a passion and love for Dance, singing and Drama.

Alex Alex

Alex has worked with Access Ability for a while, developing his skills in leading small groups and mentoring alongside the disability awareness week. He has helped in many different projects such as disability awareness, photography, J2E and Finding my way. Alex is also a event/ tournament organizer doing what he loves for 7 years and loves making people laugh and smile.

 

Bill William Hardman

Bill was employed full time for 33 years at Remploy, Bolton. Bill worked as an onsite Health & Safety Officer, Union Representative and a Learning Representative. Following the closure of the factory he found himself made redundant and out of work. Bill originally joined the Access Ability programme through our weekly job clubs based in Bolton, which provided a regular meeting point for him and his colleagues. Bill is still a key member of the group and provides peer support in and out of the session for his colleagues. Bill has now progressed to delivering Manual Handling, Health & Safety in the Workplace and Naturally Speaking Dragon Speech Training with Access Ability.

 

 

DavidDavid Mayoh

Dave was employed full time for 8 years at Remploy, Bolton. Following the closure of the factory he found himself made redundant and out of work.
