Manual Handling and Health & Safety Awareness Training
Throughout the months of March and April, Access Ability along with its two trainers William and David provided several training workshops in health and safety in the workplace and manual handling awareness across all our job club locations.
Our trainers are both ex-Remploy employees who have set up their own training company to empower ex-colleagues from different sites. They give a different training perspective which has a focus on different disabilities and the adaptations required for the workplace.
This practical and theory based training allowed all participants to refresh their current knowledge, increase personal confidence to implement the safety regulations within a workplace setting as well as enhance their current CV profile for potential employers.
