Volunteer Walk Leaders First Aid Training
This month our volunteer walk leaders attended L2 Emergency First Aid Training. Some of the topic learnt by our leaders was how to recognise and assess a potential situation, how to put someone into the recovery position, perform CPR and how to treat someone if they are bleeding or choking with ABC North West.
These are all essential skills for anyone to learn and can be applied in and outside the workplace. We feel this is one of many essential training opportunities we provide for our volunteers, as well as giving them additional confidence as we never know what we will be faced with when we are out and about.
